Shopfronts Grant for City Centre Businesses
Independent retailers in Hereford city centre are now able to apply for a grant towards improvements to their shopfront.
The Hereford city centre shopfront improvement grant scheme aims to enhance the visual appearance of the city’s retail area to attract more shoppers and visitors. The scheme, which is part of the Hereford City Centre Improvement programme, will provide funding towards improvements including painting, signage and replacement, windows, doors and guttering.
Up to 80% of eligible project costs can be funded up to a maximum grant value of £80,000. Minimum grant requests must exceed £10,000.
Independent retailers in the city centre, who are either a tenant or the owner of a building, who would like to improve their shopfront, are encouraged to take a look at the Herefordshire Council website to find further details about the grant scheme including the eligibility criteria and to see a map of the area covered.
