Hereford Bull Trail is back for 2023
Last weekend saw the return of Hereford’s popular pub trail, now in its fourth year! The trail will run until 31 August 2023.
The Hereford Bull Trail was first launched in 2019 by Hereford City Life to showcase and support the city’s fantastic hospitality sector. Running until 31st August and designed to be completed over a few days, the trail is an ideal interactive activity for locals and tourists alike.
Over the years, the trail has grown in popularity, with many visitors returning to the city, keen to collect their next Bull Trail t-shirt and celebrate what the city’s pubs and bars have to offer. It couldn’t be simpler to take part; collect a stamp card from any of the trail locations or from Hereford Tourist Information Centre to get started.

This year, the trail sees some exciting new additions, as newly opened bars The Tipsy Kat and The Jam Factory join long-standing trail locations, such as The Lichfield Vaults, Gilbies Bar & Bistro and The Black Lion. With such variety on the Hereford Bull Trail, visitors are guaranteed to find something for everyone to enjoy along the way, from real ale and local cider, to cocktails, mocktails and soft drinks.

To celebrate the launch of this year’s trail, Hereford City Life have created limited edition Bull Trail glasses to be given to the first 20 people to complete the trail. If you are not starting the trail until later in the year, don’t worry, there is still a chance to get your hands on a custom glass! Just tag Hereford City life in any photos taken on the trail, tagging #herefordbulltrail, to be in with a chance of receiving a glass.
